THUAN HAI PARTICIPATED IN THE ASEAN WASTE TO ENERGY WEEK 2024
The ASEAN Waste to Energy Week is an international event focusing on leading urban solid waste management issues in Southeast Asia and across the Asia-Pacific region, organized in various countries over the years.
Originating from a seminar on applying technology for generating electricity from urban waste through boilers, pyrolysis, and gasification methods, organized in Shenzhen in 2004, this event has garnered annual attention from various organizations, units, and businesses. In 2012, it was upgraded to the ASEAN Waste to Energy Week.
This year, the ASEAN Waste to Energy Week will take place in Vietnam on March 14th and 15th, 2024, at the Pullman Saigon Centre Hotel, Ho Chi Minh City, under the theme "Building Smart WTE Plants, Efficient Digital Solutions."
The event will bring together government representatives from Asian countries and around the world, urban waste management entities, business operators, financial investment organizations, experts, and scholars in the field, to discuss the current situation and solutions for urban waste treatment, future development directions, and advanced recycling technologies. It aims to enhance cooperation, establish links between governments, and businesses, contribute to the Net Zero goal, and build a circular economy.
