THUAN HAI PARTICIPATES IN THE CONNECTING SUPPLY AND DEMAND WORKSHOP FOR SUPPORTING AND INTERMEDIATE PRODUCTS IN PRODUCTION TOWARDS A CIRCULAR ECONOMY
The workshop is also an opportunity to share experiences, innovations, and challenges encountered in implementing activities to promote sustainable consumption and production, aiming towards a circular economy.
"Building a green economy, a circular economy, and an environmentally friendly economic environment" is one of the development orientations of the country for the period 2021-2030, as recorded in the documents of the 13th National Party Congress. The circular economy model is a closed-loop production cycle, where waste is returned and becomes raw materials for production, reducing negative impacts on the environment, ecosystems, and community health.
On October 14, 2022, in Ho Chi Minh City, the workshop "Connecting supply and demand for supporting products, intermediate products in production to promote circular economy in industries" took place. The workshop was part of the National Action Program for Sustainable Production and Consumption 2021 - 2030, organized by the Department of Energy Saving and Sustainable Development (Ministry of Industry and Trade), aiming to find solutions to connect supply and demand for intermediate products in the production chain, promoting the development of the circular economy model, and sustainable production in industries.
The event attracted more than 20 businesses. The exhibition introduced many new technologies, promising positive results when implemented in practice. Displayed products included environmentally friendly goods; technical and technological solutions in energy saving; digital transformation solutions; automation technology applications, etc.
Participating as a pioneering unit in using clean energy from environmentally friendly biomass fuel in steam, heat, and electricity production in Vietnam, Thuan Hai had the opportunity to exchange and discuss products, services, and biomass fuel and share its mission of environmental protection and energy saving.
The workshop "Connecting supply and demand for supporting products, intermediate products in production to promote circular economy in industries" is an opportunity for the Ministry of Industry and Trade and localities, agencies, and units to jointly identify objectives, contents, and implementation solutions shortly to achieve the goals set by the Government.
The workshop is also an opportunity to share experiences, innovations, and challenges encountered in implementing activities to promote sustainable consumption and production, aiming towards a circular economy to successfully implement the National Program on Sustainable Production and Consumption in the coming period.
