To support Vietnam in achieving COP26 commitments and fulfilling the economic-social development goals outlined in the National Green Growth Strategy for the period 2021-2030, the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham Vietnam), in coordination with the Ministry of Industry and Trade (Trade Promotion Agency as the lead agency), jointly organized the High-Level Conference and Green Economy Exhibition (GEFE) 2022 on November 28, 2022, at the THISO SKYHALL HCM Conference Center.

The forum program was attended by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and leaders of relevant ministries and sectors of Vietnam, along with high-level representatives from the European governments, as well as businesses, experts, scientists, and students. Discussions focused on various topics such as Energy and Green Finance, Waste Management and Sustainable Development, and Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Each discussion session was divided into sub-themes, totaling more than 20 topics related to green sectors. These included topics like Capital Markets - Vietnam's Growth Demand, Industrial Zones as Key Players in Localization Solutions, Why Green Building Certification?, Solutions for Sustainable and Green Tourism, and more.

As a pioneering entity in using biomass fuel for steam, heat, and electricity production in Vietnam, Thuan Hai was honored to be one of the Opal sponsors of the program and participated as a speaker in the discussion session titled "Waste to Energy vs Other Sources (onshore wind, biomass, ways to decarbonize power)".

By sharing the strengths and weaknesses of biomass fuel specifically and the process of applying green energy in production for the environment in general, Thuan Hai received many questions of interest from the audience regarding the clean energy solutions we have been applying and are currently implementing.

The Green Economy Exhibition, featuring 200 booths from businesses across Europe, internationally, and Vietnam, covered various sectors including renewable energy, smart cities, sustainable agriculture, circular economy, water treatment, waste management, and the environment. Thuan Hai's booth was proud to be visited and interacted with by the Prime Minister of Vietnam.

The Green Economy Forum was an opportunity for Thuan Hai to meet and exchange views on green directions and sustainable development solutions. This is also the development strategy that Thuan Hai chooses as the foundation for all its business and production activities.
