CAI MEP GENERAL PORT

The strong growth of business activities motivated us to come up with the idea of developing a general port to contribute to completing Thuan Hai's supply chain.

The Cai Mep General Port project began construction in 2018, and is considered an important step forward in Thuan Hai's infrastructure and logistics development. Setting the goal of becoming the main destination for bulk goods, gas, and petroleum is a strategy to meet increasing demand while increasing the efficiency of the supply chain. With a total investment capital of up to 2,000 billion VND, Thuan Hai marks an important step in the development and expansion of logistics infrastructure.

The project is divided into two phases

Phase 1 (Completed from the first quarter of 2021):

Construction of wharves, barges and ships of 10,000 DWT scale.
Warehouse capacity reaches 200,000 tons.

Completed and put into operation in the first quarter of 2021, the first phase focuses on building basic infrastructure with docks, barges, and ports, creating the ability to receive flexible goods, reducing waiting times and increased efficiency for transportation and storage. This efficient receipt and handling of goods also contributes to supply chain optimization, reduced logistics costs, and increased customer satisfaction.

Phase 2:

Construction of the main wharf for ships of 120,000 DWT.
Warehouse capacity expanded to 500,000 tons.
Receiving many types of goods such as rolled corrugated iron, steel plates, rolled iron, shaped steel, steel pipes, fans,...

The second phase of the Cai Mep General Port project holds promising prospects for customers when expanding capacity and the ability to receive goods. Cai Mep Port receives and processes a variety of goods such as rolled corrugated iron, steel plates, rolled iron, shaped steel, steel pipes, fans, and many other products. Thuan Hai's solution not only effectively meets market needs, but also optimizes logistics costs, opening up flexible and reliable cooperation opportunities.

Cai Mep Port is oriented to become an important logistics center, convenient for import and export and attracting investment into the region. This project can play an important role in connecting with international markets, providing a gateway for various industries.
